The Common · Terms

In plain language

The Common is the part of Solisluna where you can choose to show other men a profile: a handle, your seal, and only the items you switch on. Nothing is shown until you publish, and you can unpublish at any time.

These are the terms the app shows you, word for word, before you first publish. You accept them in the app; publishing is not possible without them.

What publishing means

You must be 18 or over to publish. A published profile shows your handle, your seal, and only the items you switch on for your profile. Any signed-in man can open it and follow you. If Runs is switched on for your profile, your published runs are shown there in full under your handle, start and end included. On The Node alone they stay without a name. What you put in the counts is added to totals without your name. Unpublish at any time and your profile is hidden at once.

What is not allowed

In a handle, a seal, or anything else you publish:

What you publish

What you publish stays yours. By publishing it, you let Solisluna show it to other men in the app until you unpublish it or delete your account.

Reports and blocks

Every profile has Report and Block. A report hides that profile from you at once and is reviewed by a person. A profile reported by two men is hidden from everyone until it is reviewed. Block hides a man's profile and entries from you; he is not told.

What happens after a report

A profile that breaks these terms may be hidden, and its handle locked. Reviews are done by hand and can take some days. To ask about a decision, write to [email protected].

The counts

Runners here lays figures side by side: what men eat, where they stand on the path, how they keep the vow, and how far they run. It is a record of men, not a claim that one thing causes another, and not medical advice.

Your data

Your photo never leaves your phone. If you choose the engraved seal, a drawing made from it is published and may be recognisable; choose your initial if you'd rather not show your face. Deleting your account removes your profile, seal, shares, follows, blocks and reports. Deleting your journal removes the figures and entries worked out from it, and keeps your handle.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be asked to accept them again before you publish.
